We visited Tokyo City University for two weeks to collaborate with Prof. Shukuya on modeling domestic hot water systems.
During the visitation, we discussed how to divide domestic hot water system into subsystems and how to develop physical model equations. Additionally, we deliberated on methods to reduce exergy consumption and explored the potential application of renewable energy sources to domestic hot water systems based on the results of the exergy analysis.
It was a valuable opportunity to experience the entire process of energy system analysis. The topics we discussed during the visitation will serve as a foundation to enhance our future research directions.
